Why infuse Guacamole with CBD?
Not only is guacamole delicious and flavorful, it’s hands down THE BEST dip or side for Mexican main dishes.
And luck would have it that the main ingredient, avocado, consists mostly of fats. Which makes it a perfect base to infuse products like CBD oil into!
Oh, and did we mention it’s also gluten free and vegan friendly?
Ready to start? Then here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients for making CBD-Infused Guacamole:
3 medium ripe avocados, peeled, halved, and seeded
1 tbsp lime juice
½ tsp salt
½ tsp ground chili pepper
¼ tsp garlic powder
½ medium red onion, finely diced
2 small tomatoes, seeded and diced
1 tbsp fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
½ jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
1 mL of CBD RSO (Rick Simpson Oil)
Instructions for making CBD-Infused Guacamole:
Place the ripe avocados in a bowl or Tupperware and mash them with a mixing spoon, fork or pestle.
Add the salt, chili pepper, garlic powder, cilantro, red onion, jalapeno, tomatoes, and lime juice to the bowl and mix.
Place your CBD RSO oil syringe in a cup of hot water for about 5-10 minutes. This will help the RSO become less solid and flow much more easily when dispensing it from the syringe.
Once warmed, top your guacamole mixture with 1mL of CBD RSO and stir thoroughly to combine.
And voila! You’ve just made a delicious, easy and fun CBD-infused edible, perfect for parties, holidays or gamedays with friends.
Storing your CBD-Infused Guacamole:
When you’re done you can cover the bowl with plastic wrap or Tupperware with a lid and refrigerate. To prevent browning add an extra tsp of lime juice and mix.

FAQ CBD-Infused Guacamole
Why is guacamole a great food to infuse with CBD?
It all comes down to fat! CBD is fat-soluble, meaning your body absorbs it far more effectively when consumed alongside healthy fats. Avocados are naturally loaded with good fats, making guacamole one of the most bioavailable — and most delicious — bases for CBD infusion. Plus, no baking or cooking required, which makes this recipe incredibly beginner-friendly.
What is CBD RSO and how is it different from regular CBD oil?
RSO stands for Rick Simpson Oil — a full-spectrum, highly concentrated cannabis extract that contains CBD along with a rich range of other cannabinoids, terpenes, and plant compounds. Compared to standard CBD tinctures, CBD RSO tends to be thicker and more potent, and many people feel the effects of edibles made with RSO are richer and longer-lasting thanks to the entourage effect.
Will CBD guacamole get me high?
Nope! This recipe uses CBD RSO, which is non-intoxicating. You won't experience the euphoric high associated with THC — instead, most people enjoy a calm, relaxed, mellow feeling that builds gradually as the edible digests. It's a great way to share CBD's benefits with friends who are curious but not ready for a THC experience.
Why do you warm up the RSO syringe before adding it to guacamole?
CBD RSO is naturally thick and sticky at room temperature, which makes it tricky to dispense evenly. Placing the syringe in a cup of hot water for 5–10 minutes softens it up so it flows easily and blends smoothly into your guac without leaving clumps. It's a simple but important step — don't skip it!
How do I store CBD-infused guacamole and how long does it last?
Cover your guacamole tightly with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate — it'll keep for about 1–2 days. To prevent browning, mix in an extra teaspoon of lime juice before storing. The CBD RSO remains stable in the fridge, so the potency won't degrade over that short storage window.
Can I use THC RSO instead of CBD RSO in this guacamole recipe?
Technically yes, but be very mindful of dosing! THC RSO is psychoactive and significantly more potent than CBD RSO. If you substitute THC RSO, start with a much smaller amount, clearly label the dish for any guests, and make sure everyone consuming it knows it's infused with THC. Always consume responsibly.
