Instructions for making CBD-Infused Steak & Veggie Buddha Bowl:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  1. Lay a bare baking sheet with sweet potatoes and onions.

  1. Add a bit of olive oil and make sure all veggies are well coated.

  1. Roast for 8–10 minutes

  1. While the veggies are sitting in the oven, heat a large heavy-bottom skillet over medium heat. In the meantime, toss the chickpeas with seasonings in a mixing bowl.

  1. Once the skillet is hot, add 1 tbsp of olive and chickpeas and saute, stirring constantly. Cook for about 10 minutes and set aside.

  1. Take the veggies from the oven after 8–10 minutes, flip sweet potatoes on the other side and add broccoli. Bake for another 10 minutes.

  1. Remove the vegetables from the oven and add kale. Drizzle the kale with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 5 minutes then set aside.

  1. Serve your steak on a plate, add the vegetables, and top with chickpeas and tahini sauce.

For the sauce:

  1. Add tahini, lemon juice, and agave a mixing bowl and whisk to combine. Set aside.

  1. Place your CBD RSO oil syringe in a cup of hot water for about 5-10 minutes. This will help the RSO become less solid and flow much more easily when dispensing it from the syringe.

  1. Once warmed, top your sauce mixture with 0.25ml of CBD RSO and stir thoroughly to combine.

And voila! You’ve just made a delicious, easy and fun CBD-infused edible, perfect for weekday nights or after a workout.

FAQ CBD-Infused Steak & Veggie Buddha Bowl

Why is tahini sauce a great base for CBD infusion in a Buddha Bowl?

Tahini is made primarily from sesame seeds, which are naturally rich in fats — and since CBD is fat-soluble, it binds to those fats beautifully, making it easier for your body to absorb. Blending your CBD RSO directly into the tahini sauce means every drizzle over your bowl delivers a consistent, well-absorbed dose. Plus, tahini's nutty, earthy flavor pairs naturally with the subtle taste of CBD RSO!

Will a CBD Buddha Bowl get me high?

Nope! This recipe uses CBD RSO, which is non-intoxicating. You'll get the calming, relaxing benefits of CBD without any of the psychoactive effects associated with THC. It's a fantastic option if you want to unwind after a workout or busy day while still enjoying a nourishing, satisfying meal.

How do I properly add CBD RSO to my tahini sauce?

The key step is warming your RSO syringe first! Place it in a cup of hot water for 5–10 minutes before dispensing. This softens the thick oil so it flows easily and blends smoothly — no clumping. Once warmed, stir the 0.25mL of CBD RSO directly into your prepared tahini sauce and whisk until fully combined. Easy!

Can I make this CBD Buddha Bowl vegetarian or vegan?

Absolutely! Just skip the steak and load up on the spiced chickpeas, roasted sweet potato, broccoli, onion, and kale. The CBD-infused tahini sauce, chickpeas, and veggies together make a complete, protein-rich, fully plant-based bowl. The recipe is already gluten-free too, so it works beautifully for a wide range of dietary needs.

Is a Buddha Bowl a good meal for CBD edibles compared to other recipes?

It's one of the best! Buddha Bowls are naturally packed with healthy fats, fiber, and protein — all of which help your body absorb CBD more effectively and create a smoother, more gradual experience compared to consuming CBD on an empty stomach. The combination of tahini fat and a balanced, nutrient-dense meal makes this one of the most bioavailable CBD edible recipes out there.

How long does a CBD-infused Buddha Bowl keep in the fridge?

Stored in an airtight container or covered bowl, the cooked steak and vegetables will last up to 4 days in the refrigerator. For best results, store the tahini sauce separately and drizzle it over fresh when you're ready to eat — this keeps the veggies from getting soggy and ensures the CBD dose is evenly applied to each serving. Label it clearly as infused!
