Can you believe Thanksgiving is just around the corner? I’ve worked at Hashtag for four Thanksgivings now, and I know the crowds will come on Green Wednesday (day before Thanksgiving, obviously). It’s our second busiest day after April 20!

To help your Thanksgiving shopping needs, we’ll be sharing different collections each week with recommendations, no matter how you like to celebrate the long weekend.

And to kick off this blog series, I’ve put together my favorite products for the High Rollers among us with cash money to burn.

Cloud 9

High Five Farms

High Five Farms is a large, Tier 3 sun-grower located in Prosser, Washington. They are a sustainably grown cannabis company, using high quality growing and extraction practices, who care deeply for the safety and happiness of their consumers. High Five grows all of their flower in house and also extracts dry-sift, Moroccan-style hash, available for just $24 per gram at Hashtag!

Some argue that hash has been made and consumed since before written language existed. In fact, evidence supports that hash was used in food and drink as early as 1000 BCE, in ancient India. That means hash may be 3,000 years old!

By the 20th century, hashish extractions accounted for the majority of Western pharmacopeia, until cannabis prohibition eradicated all hashish products and pushed them onto the illicit market.

And in the 1960s, hashish reemerged and gained popularity once again.

Extracting traditional hashish requires removing the trichomes, which contains all of the cannabinoids and terpenes in cannabis, from the female cannabis plant’s leaves and stems, and then using pressure and heat to create a solid, hard-pressed, brick-like extract.

You may be familiar with using hash as a bowl topper, or crumbling a bit into your own joint. But have you ever tried to enjoy hash on its own?
