So Many New Vendors at Hashtag

Wow, October has sure been a great month for new partnerships, and Hashtag Cannabis would like to welcome a few new vendors to our #family. With all these exciting new vendors and strain drops, I had to get my hands on them as soon as possible to try them out for myself.

Let’s jump in because I cannot wait to introduce: Cloud 9, Fire Bros., Pacific Northwest Roots, Mobius, as well as a fresh harvest from our beloved Green Barn Farms!

Cloud 9

Established in 2017 and based out of Kelso, WA, Cloud 9 Farms is a tier-2 producer/processor that specialize in high end, indoor-grown small batch craft cannabis and concentrates at an affordable price. From carefully selected genetics, to pesticide free growing practices, their hand trimmed flower is closely overseen from the first flowering to curing that ensures only the highest quality products reach their customer’s hands. Their in-house PHO/BHO and solventless rosins are also a must try!

I just had to get my hands on their newest strain drop this week, Mint Chocolate Chip. This well balanced, tasty hybrid is a cross of SinMint Cookies and Green.

As soon as you crack open the packaging, your senses are quickly overwhelmed with notes of refreshing mint, flowers and herbal tea. The smell is so light and inviting, just like the beautiful, fluffy green nugs.

Each inhale and exhale of this sweet smoke is just as smooth and tasty as the first hit, a rarity in flower form. The high fell over me like a warm blanket, balanced in both my mind and body.

Fire Bros.

The second new and exciting vendor to Hashtag, Fire Bros., was founded by two Seattle natives who have been supplying Washington State with premium cannabis for more than 15 years. Fire Bros. is an integrated urban cannabis farm and wholesaler right here in the city of Seattle. To grow the best cannabis, they begin by selecting the best phenotypes, and no other farm has their same genetics. The founders are in the gardens every day, ensuring that their high standards of craftsmanship are maintained.

I must say, this level of quality comes through strong in all of their products. I recently tried two of their exceptional strains, French Toast and Sally.

French Toast was s sneaky indica—what started out as light and social high transitioned into a deep, stoney, body buzz, perfect for unwinding before bed.

Hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and earthiness, combined with such a relaxing body high, quickly made this strain my favorite go-to bedtime “snack.”

Sally, another fabulous strain from Fire Bros., was also a delightfully relaxing smoking experience. The high was a little heavier from the beginning-- relaxing your body, mind and soul with each inhale.

Sally crosses the powerful indica of Triangle Kush with the euphoric buzz of Banana/Sherbert parent strains. This beautiful cross created a light, relaxing, refreshing effect and smelled like warm vanilla and fruit salad. Absolute perfection.

Pacific Northwest Roots

Pacific Northwest Roots is a Tier 3 cultivator based in Tahuya, Washington, along the Hood Canal fjord. Founder Ras Kaya Paul and his wife Tatiana established the brand in 2010 while participating in the Washington medical marijuana market.

This was such a great choice because it is gluten free AND vegan, two important factors that I personally look for in all of my cannabis edibles. Not only did the sweet blood orange flavor curb my late night sweets craving, but the high was perfectly balanced and sedative. Cali Cheesecake is a happy hybrid, perfect for socializing or curling up on the couch with a good book. These giant, dense buds are filled with an abundance of all the important cannabinoids that make you feel good.
