THC Infused PB&J
The peanut butter and jelly sandwich is a timeless classic that has delighted taste buds for generations.
By incorporating THC, the psychoactive compound in cannabis, you can elevate this comforting snack into a delightful edible experience.
Why infuse PB&J with THC?
THC is lipophilic, meaning it binds effectively to fats, which enhances its absorption in the body.
Peanut butter, rich in healthy fats, serves as an excellent medium for THC infusion, ensuring efficient delivery and a satisfying taste.
How difficult is it to infused THC into a PB&J?
This THC-infused PB&J recipe is perfect for those seeking a simple, discreet way to enjoy cannabis.
Whether you're aiming for relaxation, stress relief, or a fun twist on a childhood favorite, this sandwich offers a tasty and effective solution.
Best of all, it requires minimal ingredients and effort, making it ideal for both beginners and seasoned cannabis enthusiasts.
Let's get started on crafting your perfect medicated PB&J!
Ingredients:
Bread: 2 slices (your choice: white, whole wheat, sour dough etc.)
Peanut Butter: 2 tablespoons
Jam or Jelly: 2 tablespoons (choose your favorite flavor)
THC Rich RSO (Rick Simpson Oil): Desired dosage (start with a small amount, about the size of a grain of rice and adjust as needed)
Optional: Butter for grilling (if you prefer a toasted sandwich)
Instructions:
Heat the Peanut Butter:
Place the peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl or a small saucepan.
Warm it gently:
Microwave: Heat for 10-15 seconds, then stir. Repeat if necessary.
Stovetop: Use low heat, stirring constantly until softened.
Do not overheat, you don’t want the peanut butter to burn or become too runny. Additionally, at too high of temperatures, cannabinoids start to degrade.
Mix in the RSO:
Add your measured RSO dose to the warmed peanut butter.
Stir thoroughly to ensure the RSO is evenly incorporated.
Assemble the Sandwich:
Spread the infused peanut butter on one slice of bread.
Spread the jam or jelly on the other slice.
Press the slices together.
Optional - Toasted Sandwich:
If you want a toasted PB&J, lightly butter the outsides of the bread.
Grill in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
